Faye B. Johnson was born on February 21, 1926 to Mable and Willis Beddoes of Salem, Utah and died at the age of 91 in the early morning hours of October 23, 2017 in Mapleton, Utah, of incidences related to age.
She married her high school sweetheart, Fred Lewis Johnson, on October 4, 1944 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She spent most of her life as a resident of Spanish Fork. Her life was dedicated to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to everyone.
She worked for several years as a wedding caterer with Nina Childs and at City Drug for 15 years. She also spent many hours babysitting grandchildren who loved and adored her. She loved to cook and try new recipes. She was mostly famous for her homemade rolls! She also loved to embroidery. Many have been blessed to receive a set of dishtowels or pillowcases that she had made. She also loved to go camping!
She was an amazing person who influenced her large posterity for good. She is survived by her children, Clyde (Sue), Rusty, Randy (Theresa), Kevin (Nan), Mark (Stephanie), and Marla (Steve Adams).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lewis Johnson; daughter, Karen Allred; son, Fred Lynn Johnson; daughters in law, Pamela Gurr Johnson, Sandra Ballard Johnson; son in law, Gary Allred; grandchildren, Hefa Tuita, Cori Lynn Johnson, Jess Allred; and great grandson, Nicholas Johnson.
The family would like to thank the Mapleton 19th Ward members and Maple Creek Hospice for the great care over the past 8 months.
