Guinda Faye Emert, age 70, of Lockney, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Lockney Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney.

Guinda was born on May 29, 1947 in Matador to Guin Bailey and Dorothy Maxine Gwinn. Her favorite thing was getting the family all together and cooking a huge meal for them. Cooking Fried Chicken was her specialty. She was a very dedicated employee at Monsanto Seed for over 20 years. She loved her family very much, especially her precious grandchildren. She was so proud of them and loved watching them in all their activities and sports.

She was preceded in death by her parents Guin and Dorothy Bailey, 2 brothers, James Bailey and Carl Bailey, and 2 sisters Sharon Kay Bailey and Linda Bailey.

She is survived by her one daughter; Nicole Rodriguez and husband Gabriel, three sons; Brian Emert and wife Dilia, Randy Emert and wife Susan and Anthony Emert, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother; Glenn Bailey and an aunt; Gloria Lee.
