She was a Graduate of Arizona State University, served with the Arizona Air National Guard, was a teacher in Teacher in Mesa and Mammoth and served as the Vice-Mayor of the Town of Mammoth.

Private services were held at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, in Mesa, Arizona, followed by internment. Family celebration was at a special friend's home Virginia Alguero.
