Mrs. Mary Hourigan, one of the oldest residents of the First ward, died Saturday night at her home, No. 65 West Third street.
She was born in Ireland seventy five years ago and for over fifty years she had been a resident of the First ward where she was well known and esteemed for her many fine traits of character.
Mrs. Hourigan is survived by four children, Jeremiah, Daniel and Miss Mary Hourigan and Michael Hourigan of New York.
Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery.
