Otto Simonis, 81, of 228 Hanover St., a lifelong Toledo resident, died yesterday in his home. He retired 16 years ago after working 45 years as a car inspector for the New York Central System. He was a member of the New York Central System Pensioners Club and the Western Avenue Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Eva L.; son, Norvel; sister, Mrs. Emma Bauman; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of Toledo. The body is in Walter Mortuary. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Melvin Grossman at 1 p.m. Thursday in Western Avenue Methodist Church. Burial will be in Toledo Memorial Park.
