AGE 97 YEARS
Sylvia M. Haus, formerly of 351 Jerome Ave., Williamsport, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, in the Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital. Sylvia was the daughter of John E. and Mary A. Lentze Eiswerth.
A homemaker she was a longtime member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Sylvia was an avid card play and loved to work in the garden, especially with her roses.
She is survived by her children, Marie McGee, of Cascade, John (Janice) Haus, of Elkland, David (Sharon) Haus, of Cogan House and Carolyn Hines of Danville. Sylvia is also survived by her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, on Saturday morning October 21 at 9:30 Burial will be in the church cemetery.
