Ramona Anderson Chamberlain, 87, of Orem, died July 8, 2003, at her home in Orem.
She was born July 20, 1915, a daughter of Niels Albert and Amy Deslie Lowe Anderson in Echo Farm, Washington County, Utah. She married Wilford Hugh Chamberlain on October 12, 1933, in the St. George Temple. He died September 3, 1973.
Ramona attended Dixie College and SUU where she graduated with a bachelors of Library Science and secondary education on June 5, 1968.
Ramona spent her life in service to family, church, friends, and neighbors. She considered herself a multi-millionaire because of her family and friends. Ramona surrounded herself with flowers and things of beauty. She had a great love for her country.
Ramona patterned her life after the Savior and especially loved serving in the Provo LDS Temple in the last ten years of her life.
Survivors include her six children, Yvonne Christensen (Buckley) of Monticello, UT; Fae Donna Graf (Gary) of Cedar City, UT; Lucille Carson (Earl) of Orem, UT; John David (Donna) of Provo, UT; Sherrie Misel (John) of Richfield, UT; Brent (Kathy) of Elko, NV; 48 grandchildren, 130 great-grandchildren. The total posterity for Hugh and Ramona is 184 and counting.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the Suncrest 2nd Ward Chapel, 130 North 400 West in Orem. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
