Wayne was born December 14, 1933 in Throckmorton, Texas to Grace (Ingram) and William Roy Fant. Wayne grew up in Throckmorton, graduated from TCU, and lived and worked all over the world. He later went back and got his CPA and then he lived and worked around the Ft. Worth area before moving to Florida in 2015. Wayne’s interests included cheering on his beloved TCU Horned Frogs, traveling, family and friends, but nothing overshadowed his love for the Lord.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Bard and husband John of Dade City; three grandson’s, Brad, Grant, and Garrett; granddaughter, Jordan; great granddaughter, Kinsley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace (Ingram) Fant; father, William Roy Fant; brother, Bub; and two sisters, Margie and Lou.
In lieu of of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
