Elaine was a homemaker and member of the Union Hope Baptist Church. She loved to spend time crafting, gardening and raising rabbits.
She was preceded in death by her parents before mentioned and her brother, Dave Maggard.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Union Hope Baptist Church in the Tate community.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Jim Shook of the home; Two sons, James R. Shook of Kentucky and Jeff Shook of Booneville. Two sisters, Derenda Thornsbury of Tennessee and Roxane O’Hagan of Waldron; Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends.
