DAVE RILEY MAGGARD
Dave Riley Maggard of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Wednesday, August 15, 2012 in Waldron, Arkansas. Dave was born August 19, 1941 to Cody H. Maggard and Lanora D. (Starling) Maggard in Santa Monica, California. Dave was 70 years, 11 months and 27 days old. Dave enjoyed doing wood working. When he had time he loved to go fishing. His favorite thing to do was to talk on the CB radio. Dave made a lot of friends and acquaintances with his radio. Dean leaves behind to cherish his memory, four daughters, Dorothy and Sallie of California, Kathryn and Lenda of Arkansas, two sons, Joseph of California and Riley of Arkansas. Dave leaves precious memories with his eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Dave is also survived by three sisters, Elaine and Roxann of Arkansas and Dorinda of Tennessee and four brothers, Michael David of Indiana and James, Darrell and Mike of Arkansas. Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Cody Maggard and Lanora (Starling) Maggard, his grandparents, one sister and one brother. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the Bloodsworth Cemetery in the Tate Community with Bro. Bobby Joe Turner officiating with interment to follow. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
