A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Riverdale Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Speer officiating, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus. Mrs. Kennedy was born Feb. 21, 1902 in Brooks County, Ga., daughter of the late Eunice Pike Kendrick and Robert Kendrick. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church where she was a charter member of the TEL Sunday School Class and Glory Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kennedy; two sons, Claude Brooks and Robert Brooks; two grandsons, Baxter Lowe and Bobby Brooks. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Anderson and son-in-law, Maltie, of Columbus; five grandchildren; five grandchildren, Burt Brooks of Atlanta, Joan Loughman of Columbus, Jim Anderson and Andy Anderson, both of Atlanta and Doug Anderson of Birmingham; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
