MILLERSBURG -- Delores Ann “Sally” Didinger, 75, of Millersburg, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday morning, Dec. 24, 2009, at her home with her husband, Michael and sister, Ellie, by her side. She fought a courageous battle with cancer.Sally was born July 14, 1934, in Shirley, W.Va., to the late Lester “Bud” and Pauline (Curtis) Orr. She moved to Ohio at an early age and graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1952.After her marriage to Michael Didinger in 1969, she moved to Millersburg and there she worked at Seaman Corp. until retiring.Besides her parents, a sister, Johnnie (Paul) Klett and mother-in-law, Geraldine Didinger preceded her in death.Surviving in addition to her husband, Michael Didinger are sisters, Ruth (Richard) Stano, Elsie Bernard and Beverly Nidy all of Massillon; brothers, David Orr of Massillon and Dwight Orr of San Diego, Calif.; father-in-law, Bernard Didinger of Millersburg; sister-in-law, Kay (Monroe) Wright of Millersburg; brother-in-law, Danny Didinger of Las Vegas, Nev., and several nieces and nephews.In accordance with her wishes, the body has been cremated.There will be a memorial services at 2 p.m. Jan. 7, 2010, at Anchor Baptist Church, 2700 Richville Drive SE, Massillon, with pastor Mark Jacobs officiating.There will be no calling hours.Family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Holmes County Hospice, 931 Wooster Drive, Millersburg, 44654 or Anchor Baptist Church, 2700 Richville Drive SE, Massillon, 44646.Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, is handling the arrangements.
