Aaron was born abt 1840 in Ohio to Elizabeth Essig, age 19 and George Faught, age 27. Aaron enlisted in the Army as a Private in the Civil War on 10 Sept. 1861 and discharged 8 May 1862. He married Susannah McNutt on 18 June 1862. They had a son, John C Fought on 27 March 1863. Aaron was discharged and died due to "tuberculosis existing at the time of enlistment of The lungs" according to his Certificate of Disability for Discharge dated April 21, 1862, and was buried in "Holland" 1 MI SW Holland, Ohio in Lot 51, Block No. 16, Grave 8 according to Grave Registration Card for Lucas County, Springfield Township, Holland, Ohio. His exact date of death has yet to be found. The nearest I have found is between 1863 to 1865, the year when his obit was PUBLISHED in the Toledo Blade.
