Services for Mrs. Ora Iery, 92, were held Monday Sept. 24 at the Muses Chapel Church at Quick's run. Rev. Fred Calvert officiated.
Mrs. Iery, a resident of Third Street in Vanceburg, died at the home of her granddaughter on Saturday, Sept. 22, 1984.
Mrs. Iery was born June 16 1892 in Lewis County, a daughter of Jasper and Anna Bivens Polley. Her husband, Bert Iery, died in 1960.
Survivors include two sons, James Irey of Vance burg, and Clarence Iery of Florence, Ind.; four daughters, Gladys Lawson of Vanceburg and Mrs. Lena Wells, Mrs. Dorothy Chaney and Mrs. Alma Bloomey, all of Columbus, 29 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
The Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg had charge of the arrangements. burial was in the Muses Chapel Cemetery.
