Seggelke - Britt
Marriage Today

Miss Genevieve Britt and Paul Seggelke were married this morning at 7 o'clock in St. Rose Catholic church, the ceremony being performed by Reverend Father John Brennan. The couple were attended by Elmer Britt, brother of the bride, as groomsman; and Miss Cecelia Seggelke, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid.

The bride wore a navy blue suit of tricotine, with a corsage of lilies of the valley. She also wore a blue taffeta hat. The bridesmaid wore a suit of navy blue with hat to match, and a corsage of Ophelia roses.

A wedding breakfast was served in the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Rose Britt, 435 North Tenth street, after the ceremony. Only the immediate families of the couple were guests.

Later in the morning, Mr. and Mrs. Seggelke left on their honeymoon trip, keeping the destination a secret. They will make their home at the Blair Hotel in Barry [Pike county Illinois], where Mr. Seggelke is connected with a feed and grain mill.

Mr. Seggelke is a graduate of the 1917 class in Quincy High school, and lived here until a short time ago, when he went to Barry. His bride was born in Gainesville, Texas, coming here several years ago. She attended St. Mary's Academy in Gainesville, and is a most accomplished and highly attractive young woman.
