HAMPTON MORGAN

Hampton Morgan, 80, of Rt. 1, box 262, Austin, died in a local hospital Wednesday afternoon. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Baptist Church, and had lived in Travis County all of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Verna Edith Morgan of Austin; two sons, Bennie Morgan of Austin and William Henry Morgan of Austin; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Irene Burklund of Austin and Mrs. Oneta Faye McMillen of Austin; and 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hyltin-Manor Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Moore officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Calhoun. Tommy Lambert, Roy Calhoun, Keet Moffett, Hardy Meredith and Wesley Calhoun.
