Abel Armenta Sr., 65, passed away quietly at his home in Pomona, CA after a lengthy battle with cancer. His wife was with him when he passed away August 30, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Hilda Armenta and children, Abel Armenta Jr. and Veronica Armenta Roy, Sara Armenta and Nora Yanez; 10 grandchildren in Southern California. Viewing will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at Todd Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. 325 North Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont, CA 91711. Mass will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Our Lady of the Assumption at 8 a.m. 435 North Berkeley Ave., Claremont, CA 91711. Funeral Services to follow Mass at Oakdale Memorial Park at 10 a.m. 1401 South Grand Ave., Glendora, CA 91740.
