Mildred Corrine (Aikey) Clark, 97, of Pasadena, Texas, had services in Ames with Rev. David Digby of First Christian Church officiating. Burial was at Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mildred Corrine (Aikey) Clark was the daughter of Harrison and Maude (Meeker) Aikey. She graduated from Janesville High School, Iowa State Teachers College and Drake University. She was an elementary school teacher for 25 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of First Christian Church, Iowa and local Retired Teachers Association, AARA.

Mildred married Alva Clark.

Mildred enjoyed teaching fourth grade children, fishing and hunting with her husband and friends, reading and discussions with her book club, and gardening.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Her husband in 1975, three sisters, and one brother preceded her in death.
