Clara Mae Lenox, 91 of Rushville passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Rushville.
She was born on December 28, 1925 in Rushville to the late Robert and Goldie (Cheek) Borem. Clara Mae was a 1943 graduate of Milroy High School.
She married George Bussberg on November 3, 1945 and he preceded her in death on October 6, 1965.
Clara Mae married John H. Lenox, Jr. on February 14, 1968 and he survives.
She was a cook for 8 years at the Hillside Haven Nursing Home. Clara Mae is a long time member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. She loved cooking and caring for her family. Clara Mae also enjoyed camping and crocheting.
Clara Mae is survived by her loving husband, John; sons, George S. (Betty Jo) Bussberg of Indianapolis, Terry Alan Bussberg (companion Deborah) of Indianapolis, and Jerry William (Tiffany) Bussberg of Goshen, IN; daughters, Carol Lynn (James) Lennex, Karen (Rick) Dawson of Rush County, Tammy (Darrell) Wagner of Rushville, and Penny M. (Don) McElfresh of Rushville; sister, Judith (Larry) Gahimer of Arlington. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Clara Mae is preceded in death by her son, Michael Lee Bussberg; brother, Robert E. Borem; sister, Mary Griffin; half sister, Eva Adams; 1 great grandson, Logan Taylor and 1 great granddaughter, Shealynne Bussberg.
