After finishing school at CHS, Lance enlisted and served in the United States Marine Corp from 1976 to 1980. He worked for GTE and the Standard-Times for many years during the 80s and 90s.
He was survived by his wife, Lisa, two children, a sister, Marla, many friends, and family who loved him dearly.
