Flora Belle Harden, daughter of John and Mary Ann Harden was born on a farm northeast of Victor February 25, 1883. She received her education in the rural schools.
On August 29, 1918 was was united in marriage to Edward Blair. They farmed northeast of Victor until Mr. Blair's death in 1941.
February 11, 1946 she was united in marriage to W. W. Wilson of Victor. They remained on the same farm until Mr. Wilson's death on April 10, 1961. In the fall of 1961 her health failed and she went to Marengo in a private home until 1964. She entered the Plaine Crest Nursing Home in Belle Plaine where she passed away Friday night August 5 at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 10 days.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by one brother, H. V. Harden of Des Moines, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held from the McAninch Chapel in Victor Monday, August 8 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eugene L. McClure of Victor Methodist church officiating.
An organ solo, "Old Rugged Cross" was played by Mrs. Margaret Lyman.
Casketbearers were Louis DeRycke, Gilbert Hopwood, Gene VanWaus, Wayne Coover, Charles DeMeulenaere, and Allen Schroder with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Victor beside Mr. Blair.
