She was preceded in death by her husbands William Kyker and Jim Thomas, parents John and Nora Denton, sister Mabel Proffitt, and brothers Hugh Denton and Fred Denton.
She is survived by her nieces Pam Proffitt of Cosby, Elaine Gunter of Cosby, Phyllis Denton of Maryville, Janice White of Seymour, Pat Denton and Judy Atkins of Greenville, SC; nephews Jimmie Proffitt and Randall Proffitt of Cosby; sister-in-law Joyce Denton of Alcoa; special great-nephew and great niece Lance Gunter and Stacy Mousseau of Cosby; and special caregivers Denise Howard and Eleana Byron.
