Glen Amerman, 94, died March 13, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital.

He was born Dec. 31, 1905, in Kingman County, the son of Charles and Bertha Blake Amerman. He graduated from Partridge High School in 1925. A longtime Partridge resident, moving to Hutchinson in 1998, he was manager of Partridge Farmers Co-operative Co. for 40 years.

He belonged to Partridge Community Church, served on the Partridge City Council and served as mayor for a total of 40 years.

On June 10, 1931, he married Helen K. Kitch at Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sisters, Rowena O'Hara and Geneva Maxwell, both of Partridge.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elloitt Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Pamela J. Tinnin presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial will be in Partridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Partridge Community Church, in care of the mortuary.
