James S. Bailey, 89, of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2017.

Loving husband to the late Elizabeth "Libby" Naone Bailey. Son of the late George S. Bailey Sr. and the late Renee Bailey. Dear father to Wendy Morze (Ron), Douglas Bailey (Laurie), Brian Bailey (Nancy) and Lisa Metcalf (Hardy). Grandfather to 10 and Great grandfather to 4. Brother to Alan and Renee Bailey. He was predeceased by his siblings Ruth, George, Ann Mary, and Daniel. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Jim graduated from Moorestown High School in 1945 and then joined the Army Signal Corps in Hawaii where he met Libby. They moved to the mainland and started working for Bell Telephone Company. Jim traveled to Alaska and worked for the government defense system.

Friends and relatives are invited to Jim's life celebration services on Monday, August 28th at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street, from 9:30am to 11:00am with a service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
