Carolyn was a beautician in her early marriage years, then moved into retail and retired as a retail manager for the Mobil Corporation. Her Lord was a large part of her life. She was an active member of the Prince of Peace United Methodist Church in Manassas VA where she was involved in many church activities; as well as the Life and Ministry of the church. In her spare time, she loved to knit and sew for the church, friends and relatives. Her grandchildren were close to her heart taking them to and watching their sports activities, working on the fish pond and many other endeavors. Carolyn was a sports aficionado, especially when it came to soccer. She was also known to play Internet word games late into the night with her friends, and drive daringly in her Red Volkswagen Convertible.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Prince of Peace United Methodist Church, 6299 Token Forest Drive, Manassas, VA 20112. Inurnment will be at a later date in Erick Oklahoma.
