Eva was born in the Rankin Chapel community of Morgan County, Tennessee to Charlie and Mae Coffey Clark, the last one born & the last one to die. She was proud of her home place, her family and her childhood. Her brothers, sisters and other family members were always so precious to her. Her biggest enjoyment was getting the family together for a day of fellowship, cooking with the sisters and enjoy getting caught up with everyone. Sadly the last of that line is gone but we treasure our memories of Eva, her brothers & sisters and cousins of that generation.

Mrs. Eva Jane Clark Solomon, 89, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord Wednesday August 16, 2017.
She has been a resident of North Georgia for over 50 years, and was a member of Boynton Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Preceded in death by parents; Charlie & Mae Coffey Clark; brothers, Arnold Clark & Carl Clark, Oakdale, Albert Clark, Harriman and Walter Clark, Rockwood. Sisters; Lela Watson, Mabel Blake & Myrtle Copeland, Oakdale and infant sister Carlene Clark.
Survivors include Eva's loving husband of 70 years, Doc Solomon, daughters Rhonda (Mike) Jones of Calhoun, Georgia, Rena (Garry) Sloan of Ringgold, Georgia. Grandchildren Clayton, Clark, Julie Jones of Calhoun, Justin Sloan of Ringgold, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services held at Rankin Chapel in Oakdale, Tennessee, Saturday, August 19 at 12 PM with interment directly following at Rankin Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
