Our beloved Carl Dean Crowther, known to many as Jim, returned home on August 17, 2017.
He was born May 13, 1946 to Carl Lloyd and Noradean Bradshaw Crowther in Ogden, Utah.
He married Joan Campbell on June 26, 1969 in the Salt Lake Temple.
He loved young people, sharing his great heart in his forty-year teaching career, as a scoutmaster, a mentor and guide to incarcerated youth, and a teacher in many church callings.
Most precious to him are his family and his faith in Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his loving wife

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel at 8173 S 3200 W, West Jordan, with a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, August 21, at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), and Tuesday at the chapel prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45.
Internment at the West Jordan City Cemetery.
