Services for William H. Hargus were held in the First Methodist Church in Eastland. He spent the majority of his life as a boy and young man in Eastland. He saw service in the United States Army during the World War and was stationed in Europe for a length of time. In 1926, he married Miss Faye Morgan in Hico. The couple have made their home on a ranch near Hico.
