Thomas Scandridge Death Due To Clot

WEST PILOT - Thomas Scandridge 63, Pilot township farmer, passed away at his home Friday, Oct. 6. Death was due to a blood clot. Mr. Scandridge had not been in good health for some time and six days before his death was injured in an automobile collision.

Funeral services were conducted at the Ohio church Sunday afternoon in charge Rev. R. H. Kettell. Mrs. Russell Davis sang "This World is Not My Home." Arthur lang and Wallace Kinsler sang a duet "Looking This Way" and the three offered Good Night and Good Morning."

Burial was in the Victor cemetery. Six nephews Bert and Earl Yearian, Ralph and Frank Mathes and Orville and Lloyd Scandridge served as pall bearers.

Mr. Scandridge was a son of James and Sarah Scandridge and was born in Sumner township, July 18, 1876. On Dec. 22, 1909, he was united in marriage with Miss Viola Sherwood of Victor, the wedding taking place at Marengo.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Roy, of North English; two grandchildren; four brothers, Will of Pilot township, James of Hartwick, and Joe and Robert of Ladora, and two sisters, Jennie of Ladora and Mrs. Sadie Stark of Lake Mills, Wis. Four sisters preceded him in death.
