Mrs. Rawls was born June 18, 1930, in Zama, Mississippi, to the late Pete and Margie Chunn Lawrence. She worked at Morrisons for many years and was known as the "Salad Lady." In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald L. Gibson and Aubrey A. Rawls, and brother, Milton Lawrence.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Gene Gibson of League City, Texas, and Milton Rodney Gibson of Kansas City, Kansas, daughter, Wanda Marie Gibson of Columbus, Mississippi, sister, Linda Jane Allen of Augusta, Georgia, grandchildren, Jennifer, Dava, Angie, Chad, and Kristin, and six great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Mississippi, 232 Market St., Flowood, MS, 39232.
