Mary "Polly" ROUTH is the daughter of Joshua ROUTH and his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" TURNER.

Mary, age 21, married William ALLRED, Jr., age 22, on 27 Jan 1835 in Randolph County, North Carolina. Bethuel Coffin was their marriage Bondsman.

According to the 1850 US Census and other documents the children were:

1. Samuel C. ALLRED, b. 1839 NC; d. Jun 1864 VA, Civil War

2. Arlendo William ALLRED, b. 1840 NC; d. 1863, Civil War

3. Benjamin Franklin "Dock" ALLRED, b. 15 Feb 1842 NC; d. 20 Jun 1924 NC.

4. Martha ALLRED, b. 1844 NC; d. ?
