Adrienne moved to Port Charlotte in 2002 from Kansas. She was a teacher in a variety of schools in the area. Adrienne enjoyed writing stories, creating intricate ceramic figurines, making hand-embroidered portraits, producing beautiful pottery, and had a love for animals. Her pets included dogs, cats, ferrets, an iguana, a hedgehog, a sugar glider, and a cockatiel.
She is deeply missed by her sister, Valerie Wesner, and brother-in-law, Don Counts, of Severna Park, Maryland and her nephew, Adam Wescount of Manhattan, NY. Adrienne was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesner III and Thelma Basham (nee Mellnik), and her brother, John Wesner IV.
A private family burial will be held at a later date in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, Missouri.
