Paris died of cerebral hemorrhage due to high blood pressure, aged 83y 11m 28d. Buried May 5, 1948 in Grandview East Cemetery.

Obituary found in the Albany Ledger (Missouri) Thurs. 6 May 1948 on page one, column five.
