William Baumhardt Jr., 68, of Imperial died July 30, 2017, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center de Greeff Hospice House in south St. Louis County. Mr. Baumhardt was a retired police officer and member of the Bowling Hall of Fame. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and bowler. Born Oct. 3, 1948, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Burkhardt) and William Baumhardt Sr. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Telle) Baumhardt of Imperial.
Mr. Baumhardt is also survived by two sons: Brad (Jill) Baumhardt of St. Charles and Bill Baumhardt of Imperial; one daughter: Jennifer McMahon of Indianapolis.; nine grandchildren: Conor, Sophie, Kate, Brooklyn, Drew, Reid, Mason, Willy Jr., and Kyle; and one brother: Rick Baumhardt.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 3, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, and at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 6500 Metropolitan Blvd., in Barnhart. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home
