William Glen Woolsey, 87, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017, surrounded by his family, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was born on July 31, 1930 to WJ and Dovie Woolsey in Dorchester, Texas, the 2nd of 8 children.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Frances Pearl Woolsey; parents; two sons, Michael and Tommy Woolsey; three brothers, Aubrey (Pete), Robert and Otis Woolsey; and two sisters, Louise Cantrell and Betty Steward.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Woolsey and wife, Brenda (Marla) of Sherman, Texas; daughter, Billie Jean and husband, Dwain O'Dell of Hugh Springs, Texas; sister, Margaret Warren and husband, Ronnie; brother, David Woolsey and wife, Judy; and numerous grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Greater Life Church located at 933 W Lamar in Sherman with Rev John Boone officiating.
