Mr. Ardis died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Aug. 9, 1919, in Crystal Falls. He married Gertrude Bobo Jan. 30, 1943, in Crane.
Mr. Ardis moved to Odessa 46 years ago from Brownfield. He graduated from Texas A&M University. He was a retired lieutenant colonel in the Air Force having served during World War II as a P-38 pilot. He also retired from Gulf Oil Company.
