"William McKenzie Lull, Morris, died on Tuesday morning of last week at the Wheeler Nursing Home, Oneonta, where he had been a patient for a year. Mr. Lull was born August 19, 1870, in Morris, son of Henry Jerome and Ann (Tobey) Lull. He married Mary Palmiter in Morris. They had one son, Donald, who died at the age of 20. He was a graduate of Morris High School and Oneonta Normal School in 1904 and taught school for some time. He later worked as a mechanic in Binghamton and Syracuse. In later years, he lived with his brother, Almon Lull, Morris. Surviving are a brother, Melvin Lull Hartwick; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Frances Hall, Morris; three nieces, Mrs. Floyd Hendrix, Mt. Upton, Mrs. Perry Barton and Mrs. Laura Harris, Morris; a nephew, Lewis Light, Morris. He was a member of the Morris Masonic Lodge and a 32nd degree Mason, and also a member of the Morris Universalist Church. Funeral services were held September 20 at Sloan's Funeral Home, Morris. The Rev. Charles J. Dempsey of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Hillington Cemetery. Masonic services were conducted Wednesday evening in the funeral home."
