Luther B Wheat Dies in Baltimore
Luther B Wheat, father of Harold R Wheat and Mrs. William Davis, Jamestown, died recently in a Baltimore, Maryland hospital. He had been hospitalized for seven days. Cause of death was attributed to a stroke.
Wheat, a former Russell County teacher, worked for many years as a government auditor in Washington, D.C.
Following retirement, he lived in Atlanta, but was making his home in Baltimore at the time of death.
