Girlden C. Bowe, 88, of Shrewsbury died in Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a long illness. She was a homemaker, a member of Wills Memorial Inter-denominational Church, Chesapeake, and a lifelong resident of Kanawha County. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Dickie W. Bowe. She was survived by two sons, Donnie and Jackie; one sister, Ruth Sigmon of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;one great-great-grandchild. Service was held at Cooke Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, and entombment followed in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
