William “Skip” Carr, Crane, MO, son of William Clyde & Ernestine {Haynes} Carr, was born on January 20, 1929 in Cape Fair, MO and departed this life on August 15, 2015 in Springfield, MO, at the age of 86.

Skip was a lifelong resident of the area who served his country in the US Army. He was a retired machinist supervisor, a member of the Masons and the Cape Fair Church of Christ, Cape Fair, MO.

Skip was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Donna Marie (Owens) Carr and second wife, Betty Ann Carr.

Survivors include: two daughters, Cheryl Tittsworth and her husband, Joe of Reeds Spring, MO and Linda Robinson and her husband, Simon of Springfield, MO; one brother, Harold “Peanut” Carr and his wife Dottie of Crane, MO; two grandchildren, Jason Tittsworth and his wife, Sarah and Carrie Burnett and her husband, Steve; two great grandchildren, Bailey Tittsworth and Carson Tittsworth and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Fair Haven Children’s Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home, Eddie Bowman officiating. Burial in Cape Fair Cemetery.
