Vada Beckstead

Vada Allred Beckstead passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 1, 2017, at the age of 90. She was born in Delta, Utah, on July 4, 1927 to parents Angus and Lulu Prescott Cram. She graduated from Delta High School, and later went on to marry James Russell Beckstead on September 18, 1946, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Vada loved her Savior and spent as much time as possible in the Salt Lake City Temple. She often expressed her feelings by writing poetry. She also was a beautiful artist. She painted beautiful landscapes and sea scapes in oils.
Vada leaves behind her children, Lucy Adamson and Lynn Beckstead, her granddaughter Mechelle Adamson, and great grandson Bryce Adamson. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters including her twin sister Ada.
Graveside Services and Interment will be Wednesday August 9, 2017, at 1:00pm at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, Utah 84123
