Ada Allred Evans passed away Monday, July 3, 2017, just a few hours short of her 90th birthday.

She was born July 4, 1927, the youngest of six children of Angus Allred and Lulu Prescott Cram on the farm just outside of Delta, Utah. She attended school in Delta and met David Ray Evans in the fifth grade. They were married on October 16, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple after he came home from serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. They were married for 70 years when he passed away last February.

Ada was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved serving the children in the Primary where she worked for many years.

She has lived in Roy for 58 years and has four children: Alan, Evanston, WY; Karen (Lynn Clarke), Taylor; Brent (Lorna), Morgan; Roger (Cindi), Ivins; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Ada is survived by her twin sister, Vada Beckstead, Salt Lake City.

The family would like to thank Intermountain Hospice for their kind and caring professionalism.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
