Born January 24, 1901, in McCreary County, she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Huter Boyer, and the widow of Burkhardt Johnson.
Survivors are a brother, Sam L. Boyer, Somerset; and three sisters, Frieda Hirchinback, Blackshear, Georgia, Elizabeth Layman, Lake Hamilton, Florida, and Eunis Lanier.
She was a retired Army nurse.
Services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company with the Rev. E.R. Prather officiating.
Burial will be in the Cumberland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
