She was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., and was a controller general at Fort Belvior in Alexandria, Va. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Naples, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Loyd A. Bahney of Lakeland; two sons, Gary D. Edwards of Lakeland and R. Kevin Edwards of Dale City, Fla.; four stepdaughters, Barbara Nobel of Virginia Beach, Lois Austin of Norfolk, Jeanette Boedigheimer of Springfield, Ill., and Sharon Weitzel of Norfolk; six grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lether and William Moser; her sister, Ruth Barr; and her brother, William Moser Jr.
Funeral services are pending. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.
