Texas, passed away on January 30, 2008. He was born on Oct. 22, 1942 in
Littlefield, to Louis Cresty Walls Rudd and Alma Lee Pickett Rudd. He
enjoyed life and loved music, playing his guitar, hunting for arrowheads,
telling tall tales, cooking, and beachcombing and was an accomplished
artist. Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Louis Cresty Walls Rudd.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Jeanie Column of Fort Worth; his mother,
Alma Lee Barnett and her husband, Randy of Granbury; two sons, Shannon Dale
Rudd of Houston and Michael Zane Norman and his wife, Angela of Granbury;
one daughter, Misty La'Dawn Jefferson and her husband, Cody of Godley;
grandchildren, Justin Zane Norman and his wife, Jamye of Andrews, Morgan
Shelby Norman and Regan Marlene Norman, both of Artesia, N. M., Wyatt Shane
Norman of Granbury, Micki Pyper Rudd Jefferson, Ransom Dakota Rudd
Jefferson, Cash Ellis Rudd Jefferson, all of Godley, Ashley Don Mansfield
and Courtney Marie Mason, both of Fort Worth; great-granddaughter, Highley
Bliss La'Dawn of Fort Worth; three brothers Gary Lee Rudd and his wife,
Sylvia of Marble Falls, Robbie Harley Rudd of Waco, and Harvey Dale Rudd and
his wife, Audrey of Bloomfield, N. M., and a whole herd of nieces, nephews
and close friends. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3,
in the Chapel at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, with Paul
Gordon officiating. Interment followed at the Wolf Crossing Cemetery in
Burnet County. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Clements-Wilcox
Funeral Home in Marble Falls.
