Henry A. Campbell, 75, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1987 in Orem.

He was born Sept. 24, 1912 in Malad, Idaho, a son of John H. and Frances Eakins Campbell. He married Dorothy Kofford Nov. 14, 1934 in Orem. She died June 5, 1978.

He moved to Provo at a young age and attended the Provo city schools, graduating from Provo High School where he had been active in all athletics. He had also attended BYU.

He had worked at Geneva Steel during its construction and after in its operation. He worked at Mountain Fuel Supply for 30 years and served as district manager for 20 years in Spanish Fork. He was a founding member of the Orem Volunteer Fire Department. He was active in the Orem Jaycees and served as president and received the Outstanding Young Man Award. He was a member of the Orem Lions Club and had also served as president district governor.

He was also a founding member of the Orem Community Church. He enjoyed fishing hunting, and raising pigeons.

Survivors include three sons: Robert H. Campbell, Bountiful; Gary J. Campbell, and Clinton K. Campbell, both Orem; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister: Eunice Strohmeier, San Mateo, Calif.

Funeral was held Monday in Orem. Burial was in Orem City Cemetery.
