Mrs. Mary Audrey Cooley Hofstetter, 90, of Clemmons passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at her home.
Mary was born December 17, 1923, a daughter to the late Wiley Cooley and Eliza Prentiss Cooley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Grace, her second husband, Delferd Hofstetter, a daughter, Linda A. Price and several brothers and sisters. Mary was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by daughter Diane G. Terrell of Clemmons, granddaughter, Kimberly Smith of Blaine, TN, and great grandson, Jesse A. Martin of Walkertown, NC; daughter, Sarah Southern and husband, Lewis of Asheboro, grandson, Phillip Southern and wife, Kristina of Greensboro, great grandchildren, Emily and Joshua, and grandson, Matthew Southern of Kernersville, and sister, Madora Blackburn and husband, Spencer of Winston-Salem.
A crypt side will be held 10 AM, Saturday, May 10th at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons with Pastor Randy Quate officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
