Mrs. Charles Chambers died suddenly at her home, 517 North Front Street, Saturday afternoon [May 25, 1918] at 3:30 o'clock from acute indigestion. She was a resident of the borough for 34 years and was born in Ireland.
Mrs. Chambers is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. George M. Young, Weems, Ohio; Miss Elizabeth, Miss Anna, Mrs. James Shaw and Miss Catherine; James and Charles, of Harrisburg; Sergeant Lawrence Chambers, Camp Meade; and Joseph, of the borough. She leaves four brothers, Michael and Jeremiah Mahoney, Coatesville; Lawrence Mahoney of the borough, and Cornelius Mahoney, of Harrisburg; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Cummings and Mrs. Harry Winger, of Harrisburg.
Funeral services for Mrs. Chambers will be held Wednesday morning [May 29, 1918] in St. James Catholic Church. Requiem high mass will be celebrated by the Rev. J. . Thompson, and burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
