Mrs. Blanche Kneller, relic of the late T. C. Kneller, of Savannah, died last night at her home on Toombs street and Hill avenue. Mrs. Kneller has been a patient sufferer for several weeks and death came as a messenger of mercy to her at about one o'clock. Up to the time she was taken ill about a month ago, she appeared to be in the best of health and there was every indication of a long life before her. From the beginning of her illness, however, her case was pronounced as very serious and there has been no hope for her recovery during the past two weeks. She was thought to be dying several days ago, but the tender thread of life remained unbroken in spite of all indications. Her patience and vitality through the long period of suffering was wonderful.
Mrs. Kneller was the youngest daughter of Mrs. H. H. Ihley, and the sister of Mrs. J. A. Dasher, Sr and Mrs. Jennie Darnell, all of whom survive her. She was a devout member of the Christian church and leaves a large circle of friends and relatives to mourn her death. She had lived in Valdosta since the death of her husband, nearly ten years ago. Her life up to the time of her marriage was also spent here.
The funeral services will be conducted from the Christian church tomorrow (Saturday) morning at ten o'clock. The friends and acquaintances of Mrs. H. H. Ihly, Mrs. Jennie Darnell and the family of Mr. J. A. Dasher, Sr. are invited to attend the services.
