George Michael Zirger (Zurger, Zaerger) was the son of Johann Jakob Zaerger and Eva Magdalena Hofmann.
George Michael Zirger was married twice.

1. Rosina Catharina Hofmann, Feb. 28, 1865 in Wurttemberg, Germany. Rosina was born Dec. 12, 1839, the daughter of Georg Michael Hofmann and Eva Catharine Roeger.

2. Rosina Kugler, Dec. 10, 1878 in Wurttemberg, Germany. Rosina was born Aug. 30, 1850, the daughter of Johann Kugler and Elizabeth Noller.

George and Rosina applied to immigrate in April 1882. They left Germany and arrived in New York, May 22, 1882.
